Scholarship Information
Over 30 different scholarships are exclusively available to students enrolled in UAF CTC programs. These scholarships are made available through individual and local industry donors and highlight the individual and industry support UAF CTC and its mission to develop a work-ready workforce. Applications are due by February 15th of each year for scholarships applicable to the following academic year, starting in the fall. In addition to the UA Foundation Scholarships, CTC students are also eligible for the Grainger Tools for Tomorrow Scholarship Program, due in March, and the Golden Valley Electric Association’s Career & Technical Education Scholarship, with an application period open from November 1 through March 1. Applications for the Grainger scholarship can be picked up in 604 Barnette or emailed upon request from the CTC Financial Aid Advisor. Applications for the GVEA Scholarship can be picked up at 604 Barnette, emailed upon request, or are available online at GVEA’s website.
