Join UAF CTC in celebrating National Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month in February! At CTC, we value and provide hands-on technical education and education that prepares students for jobs in Alaska.
Right on time for CTE Month on Monday, February 5, UAF CTC hosted the Interior Workforce Development Work Session organized by the Alaska Postsecondary Access and Completion Network and the Interior Steering Committee. Session participants discussed plans to enhance education and training in the region.
Also in celebration of CTE Month, on Tuesday, February 6, CTC Professor Patty Meritt provided the keynote presentation at the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce weekly luncheon. The presentation focused on CTC’s role in working with community and industry to build Alaska’s workforce. (See CBS 13 TV news video here)
