Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences Degree (B.A.A.S.)
The Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (B.A.A.S). degree is a degree completion program designed specifically for students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree from a regionally accredited institution and who wish to earn a bachelor-level degree. The B.A.A.S. degree at UAF is offered as an interdisciplinary degree which allows students to tailor their bachelor’s degree program to their unique academic and career goals
The degree program is administered through the UAF Interdisciplinary Studies program. UAF CTC works cooperatively with UAF’s Interdisciplinary Studies Program to provide enhanced guidance and advising to students who are interested in the B.A.A.S. degree and who are completing or have completed their A.A.S. degree program at UAF CTC.
To be eligible to earn the B.A.A.S. degree, students must first complete an A.A.S. degree from an accredited institution of higher education. UAF offers A.A.S. degrees in the following areas:
