UAF Community & Technical College will be hosting an event on Saturday, April 28, at UAF CTC 604 Barnette Street, 3 – 4 pm for anyone that might be considering college, but not sure if it is the right fit for them.
Attendees will hear from several students whose path to college was not the usual, expected path, learn from their experiences, ask questions, and see if taking classes might be a good option for them.
This event is perfect for those that might have the following concerns:
• “I’m thinking of taking college classes but am not sure where to start.”
• “I’m going to be so much older than these other students!”
• “How can I make a job change, advance in my current career, or learn a new skill?”
• “High school wasn’t my thing and I’m not sure if college is.”
Coffee and donuts will be provided at the event. The event will be held in the Ruth Lister Gathering area on the first floor near the 6th Street entrance.
