Foundation for the study of children ages 3 to adolescence, including developmental domains, theories, milestones and cultural influences, including Indigenous traditional practices. Emphasis on helping students use their knowledge of child development to predict and promote optimal growth in children. Practical experiences, such as observations and laboratory participation will be included.
