The associate of arts degree is designed for students who want to transfer to a four year bachelor of arts or bachelor of science degree program. The curriculum of the associate of arts program consists of courses that meet the UAF Baccalaureate core requirements plus degree specific electives.
The A.A. degree is ideal for students who want a flexible liberal arts degree that can be that can be transferred to a specific UAF degree program or to a four year degree at another University.
Because of the many purposes that can be met through the A.A. degree it is crucial to work with an academic advisor. The academic advisor will work with you to ensure the courses you select meet your educational goals.
