Northern Military Programs is committed to meeting student’s educational needs and helping them find a pathway to complete a degree. Courses are offered at times that are convenient for students. On-site courses are offered evenings and weekends. Within a regular semester, accelerated terms are also offered.
Advisors are available at FTWW and EAFB to assist students in developing a clearly defined degree program. This ensures maximum transferability/applicability of credits earned through prior college and while in the military. UAF, UAA and UAS are all members of the Servicemembers Opportunity College (SOC) Consortium.
Northern Military Programs offer a variety of testing services. In collaboration with the University of Alaska Fairbanks, we offer CLEP and DANTES testing at Eielson AFB. Northern Military Programs also offers placement testing at all of our locations. In addition, proctoring services are available upon request.
Students may register for classes online or on site at Fort Wainwright, Eielson Air Force Base or our Delta Junction office. Community members are welcome to register for classes as well. Contact our offices listed below for specific registration dates and further information.
Northern Military Programs can assist students with financial aid, military tuition assistance, Veteran’s education benefits, Pell grants, guaranteed student loans, and other military subsidies available. Military members should visit their education center for information about tuition assistance.
